La artista colombiana Shakira anunció que será la voz de la canción oficial del Mundial que se jugará entre junio y julio próximos en Estados Unidos, México y Canadá. El tema se llama “Dai Dai” y es interpretado junto al cantante nigeriano Burna Boy.
Apenas una semana después de la publicación del adelanto, Shakira lanzó la versión completa de la canción que sonará en todos los estadios de la competición.
La estrella colombiana de la música, además, grabó el video en el mítico estadio Maracaná de Río de Janeiro, ciudad en la que dio un multitudinario show en las playas de Copacabana el último fin de semana.
“Oe, oe, oe”, comienza la canción, con un alegre ritmo caribeño y letra en inglés que hace referencia a un Mundial de todos. En el desarrollo del tema, se mencionan al menos 12 futbolistas del calibre de Lionel Messi, Diego Maradona, Pelé y Cristiano Ronaldo, entre otros cracks.
“Waka Waka” en Sudáfrica 2010 y “La la la” en Brasil 2014 habían sido las anteriores canciones que Shakira interpretó en mundiales.
